Lores is a reading, book club, and writing companion app. This policy explains what information Lores uses, why it is used, and how you can contact support about your data.

Lores may use the information you provide when creating and using your account, including your email address, display name, username, profile picture, bio, favourite books, reading taste, friends, book clubs, comments, recommendations, library entries, reading progress, reading goals, writing projects, and writing progress.

Lores may also use basic app activity information, such as when the app is opened or when content is updated, to keep your account and app experience working correctly.

How Information Is Used

• To create and manage your Lores account.
• To save your library, reading progress, goals, and stats.
• To show profiles, friends, book clubs, comments, and recommendations.
• To support writing projects, ideas, writing sessions, and writing stats.
• To help keep the app reliable, secure, and working across devices.

Sharing

Some information you choose to add to Lores may be visible to other users depending on your app settings and how you use social features, including profile details, friend information, book clubs, comments, and recommendations.

Lores does not sell personal information.

Third-Party Services

Lores uses Firebase and related services to provide account, database, storage, hosting, and app functionality. These services help Lores store and sync app data securely.

Account Deletion

You can delete your Lores account in the app by opening More, then Settings, then Account Details, and choosing Delete Account.

If you cannot access your account, email support and include the email address or username linked to your Lores account.
